Nyamata Teleservice Centre has recently recieved an award for ICT development in rural communities
especially in Bugesera District Eastern Rwanda. This award was received by the Telecenter manager Mr
Barera Paul.
The near-by community has been able to access internet services forexample the Herbalists have been able
to find new knowledge and women associations for wieving have also been able to make research on the
designs of their products in addition to computer trainings at the Telecenter.
